Nagpur, Maharashtra: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed key developments in the state, including the approval of 170 major projects by the Maharashtra government. He further shared that a proposal to rename Pune airport to "Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport" has already been forwarded to the central government for approval.

During his address, Shinde also took a swipe at former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, stating, "Uddhav Thackeray is attending the session like a tourist, having resigned from the post of CM but not yet relinquishing his position as MLC." This remark came amid ongoing political discussions about Thackeray’s role and participation in the legislative sessions.

Shinde’s statement reflects the current political tensions in Maharashtra, highlighting both the progress of government projects and the ongoing political dynamics surrounding the former CM’s position.
