During a padyatra in Mayur Vihar, AAP leader Manish Sisodia highlighted the growing excitement among people for the event and criticized the BJP for its alleged attempts to obstruct their work. Sisodia claimed that the BJP's efforts, including attempts to jail both him and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, have failed.

“There is a lot of excitement amongst people for the ‘padyatra’. They are also excited because BJP's ill schemes are failing. BJP is putting up obstacles to obstruct the work of Delhiites, one of them was sending me and Arvind Kejriwal to jail, but all their attempts are unsuccessful. I have come out and soon Arvind Kejriwal will also be released,” Sisodia said.
