New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recently met with several Union Ministers to discuss future infrastructure developments in the state, particularly focusing on transportation and defense sectors.

During his visit, CM Yadav held discussions with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, emphasizing the need for improved rail connectivity to support the state’s growing mining sector. "I met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and told him that we have many underground mines where railway lines will be needed for transportation in the future, especially for transportation of minerals," Yadav said. He further mentioned that the Railway Minister expressed his willingness to support Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to develop its rail network. "He agreed and said that apart from this, if you come up with any good proposal to build a rail network, we will support the state," Yadav added.

In addition to his meeting with the Railway Minister, CM Yadav also met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the potential of the Defense Investment Corridor in regions like Morena and Datia. "We have told him that from a future point of view, the Defense Investment Corridor which is being built has a lot of potential in Morena, Datia, and other areas," Yadav stated. He also highlighted his request for investment from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Madhya Pradesh to further boost the state's industrial capabilities.

"Madhya Pradesh is a state with a lot of potential," Yadav emphasized, underlining the strategic importance of enhancing both transportation and defense infrastructure to support the state’s growth. Yadav's proactive engagement with Union Ministers and senior defense officials indicates a concerted effort to attract more investment and development projects to Madhya Pradesh.
