Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has taken a strong stance against the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), alleging negligence in conducting vital adulteration tests during their regime. Speaking at a public gathering, Naidu stated, "During their regime, they never sent samples to Mysore or Gujarat, and adulteration tests were not conducted."
His remarks follow recent actions by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer, who sent samples to a lab amid suspicions of adulteration. Naidu expressed his discontent, questioning Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's authority to "play with public sentiments."
This controversy highlights ongoing tensions between the ruling YSRCP and the opposition, with Naidu accusing the current government of neglecting public health and safety. As the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh remains charged, Naidu's comments resonate with concerns over accountability and governance.
The issue of food safety continues to be a significant topic of discussion in the state, with citizens calling for transparency and rigorous testing to ensure the integrity of food products. Naidu's assertions may further fuel the political debate as the state approaches upcoming elections.
