Nagpur witnessed violent clashes on Monday, sparking strong political reactions. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi criticized the Maharashtra government, blaming the BJP-led NDA for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

Speaking on the unrest, Chaturvedi stated, “The law and order has collapsed completely in the state since the new government came to power... The people are asking for employment, reservation, and a safe environment, but no one is talking about these things. Instead, they are provoking the youth and distracting them. This is very bad for the future of the country.”

The violence in Nagpur reportedly erupted due to tensions over local issues, leading to clashes between different groups. Security forces were deployed to control the situation, and authorities imposed restrictions in sensitive areas.
