By A Staff Reporter — Northern Railway has implemented special arrangements to manage the high passenger traffic expected during the festive season, General Manager Ashok Kumar Verma announced. Among these measures, 195 regular trains have been designated for operation, all departing from platform no. 16 at New Delhi Railway Station.

To ease crowding, Verma explained that separate holding areas for unreserved coaches have been established, and entry to these areas will be allowed only when the train arrives. Similar crowd-control steps are being enacted at the Anand Vihar Railway Station. In addition, passengers will only be permitted to access platforms once their train is at the station, a measure aimed at reducing congestion and improving the travel experience during the busy season.
