On the occasion of Navami, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited several puja pandals in Cuttack district, participating in the vibrant celebrations dedicated to Maa Durga. During his visit, he expressed gratitude towards the puja committees and the local community for maintaining a peaceful atmosphere throughout the Durga Puja festivities. "Cuttack is a historical city and known for its brotherhood. I am happy and thankful to the puja committees and people of the city for the peaceful celebration of Durga puja," Majhi remarked, acknowledging the cultural significance of the event.

In addition to celebrating the festival, CM Majhi addressed longstanding demands from the residents regarding the development of Cuttack into a Smart City. "There have been longstanding demands for making Cuttack a Smart City. Our Government is aware of it. I will review it during my next visit to Cuttack," he stated, highlighting his commitment to the city's progress and modernization. This assurance aligns with the aspirations of Cuttack's citizens who seek improved infrastructure and services in line with the Smart City initiative.
