Parida stated that she has spoken to the DCP, visited the victim at AIIMS, and met her family to express her support.
In response to the incident, five police personnel have been suspended, and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed the crime branch to conduct a thorough investigation. Parida assured the public, particularly women, that quick action would be taken and encouraged victims to come forward with confidence, promising immediate responses to such reports.
