Delhi: An old building in the Mahendru Enclave of Model Town, Delhi, collapsed, prompting an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Service. Assistant Regional Fire Officer CL Meena reported that the incident occurred in a large area where a banquet hall building, which also had a telephone tower on its roof, came crashing down.

"We received a call about the collapse and dispatched three vehicles to the site," Meena said. The building, described as old and in a damaged condition, tilted dangerously with the telephone tower leaning to one side. Three individuals have been injured and were promptly hospitalized.

Search operations are ongoing to determine if anyone is still trapped under the debris. The exact cause of the collapse remains unknown, but officials confirmed that the building was old and had been closed for some time.
