New Delhi – As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked its Foundation Day, party president JP Nadda addressed workers and leaders with a message underscoring the BJP’s deep ideological roots and commitment to grassroots engagement.

Speaking at a special event in the national capital, Nadda said, “We are ideologically affiliated to the Indian tradition and culture, and we never compromise. That is why we are an ideological-based party. At the same time, we are a mass-based party, one that thrives on people's trust and participation.”

Highlighting the BJP's unique identity as both ideology-driven and people-centric, Nadda emphasized the importance of remembering the party's journey and those who shaped it. “I request the people of my party, when you visit any booth and you find any member of Jan Sangh or any founding member of the BJP, please visit his or her home,” he urged, calling for deeper grassroots outreach and a respectful acknowledgment of party veterans.
