Mumbai: Union Minister Piyush Goyal responded to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's allegations regarding her speaking time at the NITI Aayog meeting, emphasizing the equal treatment of all participants.

"...I'm in Mumbai for the whole day. I believe Nirmala Sitharaman and Pralhad Joshi have already responded. The government has said that everybody was given 5 minutes to speak and it was in auto mode, everybody had to speak in 5 minutes. No special dispensation was given to anybody," said Goyal.

The clarification comes after Banerjee claimed she was not given adequate time to address the meeting, sparking a political controversy.
