Bhubaneswar (Odisha): Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissioner of Police Sanjeeb Panda has reported the arrest of three veteran snatchers following several complaints of theft from single women walking in the streets.

Panda stated, "We received several complaints regarding snatching from single women walking in the streets from both Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. After that, we deployed our special squad for the investigation and our special squad was successful in arresting three veteran snatchers. We recovered four gold chains, three mobile phones, and one bike used during the commission of the crime."

He further revealed, "These three are veteran snatchers who were released from jail in May, and after that, they started the crime again. In the last three weeks, they have committed six such cases in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar."
