Mohali: Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday lauded the Nehru Yuva Kendra's efforts in organizing the Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering cultural understanding and national unity.
"The Nehru Yuva Kendra organizes exchange programs to let the youth know the culture of India. That's why 132 students from six districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been brought here," Governor Kataria said. He emphasized that the program not only provides an opportunity for Kashmiri youth to experience Punjab’s vibrant culture but also allows local students to learn about the traditions and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
The exchange program aims to build bridges between different regions of the country, helping students appreciate the diversity and richness of India's cultural tapestry. Kataria expressed hope that such initiatives would inspire young people to contribute positively to the nation’s development while fostering a sense of unity.
