During a press briefing in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his concerns about the Congress Party's alliance with the National Conference for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Sharma pointed out that this alliance raises several questions among the citizens of the country, especially considering the statements made by National Conference leaders, which he claimed do not align with national interests.

Sharma highlighted that the National Conference has promised to restore Article 370 and Article 35A if they come to power, which, according to him, has historically led to significant loss of life and widespread corruption in Kashmir. He questioned whether Congress supports these promises and implied that bringing back these articles could reintroduce corruption into the system.

He also accused the National Conference of misleading the youth of Kashmir in the past and questioned why Congress would support actions that could potentially hinder the progress of young people in the region who are now moving towards the mainstream.
