Rajinikanth Condoles Death of Senior Congress Leader Kumari Ananthan

Chennai: Veteran actor Rajinikanth on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of senior Congress leader Kumari Ananthan, father of BJP leader and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

In a brief statement to the media, Rajinikanth said, “Kumari Ananthan was an honest politician and a great human. I extend my condolences to his family.”

Kumari Ananthan, known for his unwavering commitment to public service and clean political image, passed away earlier this week. A stalwart in Tamil Nadu politics, he was admired across party lines for his simplicity, integrity, and decades-long contribution to the Congress party.
