Rashtrapati Bhavan Halls Renamed, Congress Criticizes Move

New Delhi: In a recent development, two prominent halls of Rashtrapati Bhavan have been renamed. The ‘Durbar Hall’ will now be known as ‘Ganatantra Mandap’ and the ‘Ashok Hall’ as ‘Ashok Mandap’.

Gujarat Congress president Shaktisinh Gohil commented on the change, stating, "The president decides on aid and advice of the government, it must have been changed on the advice of the BJP government." His remarks suggest that the renaming was influenced by the current administration.
