Sambit Patra Slams West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata: BJP MP Sambit Patra expressed solidarity with the doctor community while condemning the handling of the alleged rape and murder of a woman resident doctor at RG Kar Medical College in West Bengal. Patra accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of covering up the incident, highlighting the rapid transfer of 40-50 doctors and questioning what the CM is trying to hide.

He criticized Banerjee for her contradictory roles as Chief Minister, Health Minister, and Home Minister, questioning her public protests and placard-holding while being in power. He also commended the lawyers at the Calcutta High Court for raising critical issues and praised the court's strong stance against the state government's handling of the case.
