Tamil Nadu: The strike by Samsung workers in Tamil Nadu has been called off following productive conciliation talks held on October 15, 2024. Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries, Dr. TRB Rajaa, announced the development via Twitter, confirming that representatives from both the management and the striking workers participated in the discussions facilitated by the Department of Labour Welfare.
During the talks, various decisions were made to address the workers' concerns, leading to a resolution of the issues that prompted the strike. "Thus, the strike at the Samsung factory has come to an end, and all the workers are resuming work," Rajaa tweeted, expressing optimism for a renewed commitment to collaboration between management and employees. The resolution marks a significant step towards restoring normalcy at the factory, allowing operations to continue without further disruptions.
