By A Staff Reporter : Jagdambika Pal, the JPC Chairman and BJP MP, expressed his concern about the incident, stating that it was unprecedented and forced the adjournment. Pal has informed Speaker Om Birla about the scuffle, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

Pal criticized the behavior of TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee and questioned the message sent to the public, especially with delegations from Odisha, including senior lawyers and former judges, present. He condemned violence in democratic proceedings, asserting that accusations against him were attempts to cover up wrongdoings by others.

"I give everyone a chance to speak. If MPs feel I am preventing them from speaking, I am willing to resign from the committee," Pal said, defending his conduct during the meetings.
