Delhi: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has sharply criticized Jitan Ram Manjhi over recent statements regarding the Nawada incident. Yadav suggested that Manjhi’s comments reflect his education at RSS-affiliated schools and implied that the BJP and RSS influence his statements. “He (Jitan Ram Manjhi) and his son have studied in RSS's school. What BJP and RSS gave to him, he reads that to make any statement,” Yadav remarked. He further questioned the BJP and RSS’s role in addressing the incident, stating, “Who is in govt? They are in the govt both at the centre and in the state, they should take action against the culprits.”

On the 'One Nation, One Election' proposal, Yadav voiced strong objections, characterizing it as part of a broader agenda to undermine democratic processes. “This is a beginning to end the process of election. RSS and BJP have always wanted to finish the constitution and democracy,” Yadav said. He expressed concern that the proposal could lead to more drastic changes, stating, “When the bill is tabled, we will see about the shortcomings… They’ll later talk about, one election one party and then no election one leader. They want to finish everything.”
