Hyderabad: Telangana Minister D Sridhar Babu has voiced concerns over the Union Budget 2024, urging the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reconsider the allocations and provisions.
"...If they look in one way and try to help and coordinate and cooperate with one state, the erstwhile composite state of Andhra Pradesh, then it would be the greatest drawback for the people from our state of Telangana," Babu stated, expressing apprehension about perceived favoritism towards Andhra Pradesh.
The minister emphasized the need for equitable distribution of resources and support, highlighting the potential negative impact on Telangana if the budget remains unchanged. "So, we sincerely urge the central government and also PM Modi to relook at the budget which they have presented today and we demand it be corrected," Babu added.
