New Delhi: Union Minister Harsh Malhotra has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its celebration of Manish Sisodia’s bail, granted by the Supreme Court in the Delhi excise policy case.

Malhotra pointed out that Sisodia’s bail, after 18 months and multiple attempts, was granted on technical grounds and noted that Sisodia's passport has been seized and he must report to the police station weekly. He emphasized that serious corruption allegations against Sisodia are still under trial and cautioned that bail does not equate to acquittal.

“AAP is celebrating the corrupt and corruption. The entire party is involved in corruption. Arvind Kejriwal himself is in jail under charges of liquor scam,” Malhotra stated, reflecting the ongoing tensions and criticisms surrounding the case.
