Union Minister Scindia Hails Union Budget 2024 as Historic

Delhi: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has lauded the Union Budget 2024, describing it as historic and indicative of India's growing global influence.

"The budget is historic. This shows that India is moving forward globally. India has emerged as an economic power and nation to lead the world," Scindia stated, emphasizing the country's strengthened economic position.

Scindia highlighted significant provisions in the budget, including Rs 3 lakh crore allocated for women and youth. "A provision of Rs 3 lakh crore has been made for women and youth...A provision of 1 lakh houses has been made for the poor," he noted, showcasing the government's focus on social welfare.

The budget also emphasizes employment generation, with new opportunities and incentives for companies. "The budget has created new employment opportunities for the youth, incentives will be given to the companies, schemes to provide internships have been announced," Scindia added.

Concluding his remarks, Scindia said, "India has got a new direction with the budget," reflecting the optimistic outlook on the country's future growth and development spurred by the budget's initiatives.
