Uttarakhand CM Praises Athletes, Plans Long-Term Sports Infrastructure Use

Dehradun, Uttarakhand – Chief Minister Pushkar Singh has lauded the state’s athletes for their commendable performance in the 38th National Games, urging them to gear up for the upcoming 39th National Games in Meghalaya. Addressing the state’s sporting community, he reiterated the government's commitment to fostering athletic talent and strengthening Uttarakhand's sports infrastructure.

The Chief Minister highlighted that a strategic plan would be devised to ensure the long-term utilization of the sports facilities developed for the National Games. This initiative aims to provide sustained benefits to athletes and encourage future generations to excel in various sports disciplines.

“Now, we must focus on preparing for the 39th National Games in Meghalaya. This requires collective efforts from players, coaches, and the sports department. The government will provide full support to ensure our athletes are well-prepared,” said CM Pushkar Singh, as per the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
