BY A STAFF REPORTER: Another chief has also entered the top league of Indian football along with East Mohan. Mohammedan opened the ISL by winning the I-League last year. After many decades, the three chiefs of Kolkata will be seen playing together in the top league of the country. For the first time, the white-black brigade is ready to identify their own breed by stepping into the best league in the country. Mohammedan coach Andrey Chernyshov himself is optimistic about the team.

Seven of the 13 teams participating in the league held a press conference on the occasion of ISL Media Day at a hotel near Rajarhat on Wednesday afternoon. Mohammedan Sporting came at the beginning of the press conference. Coach Andrey Chernyshov was accompanied by Bengali defender Samad Ali Mallick, Mizo defender Zodingliana Ralte and Ghana defender Joseph Adjei.

Samad Ali Mallick is looking forward to playing in the ISL. Samad Ali Mallick said, "We are ready to take the challenge. I-League and ISL are separate tournaments. We are moving forward the way the coach is guided. I hope I can do something good. "

Mohamedan coach says, "I know how high the standard of ISL is. This is not the Kolkata League or the I-League. We have a lot of young players in the team. I hope I do well. There are challenges. All such Indian footballers will play, who play regularly in the national team. Foreigners of all parties are also very dangerous."

In the first season, however, Mohammedan Sporting is reluctant to think about the trophy. They want to move forward step by step. Mohammedan's ISL campaign begins on September 16 at their home ground Kishore Bharati Krirangan against Durand champions NorthEast United FC.
