Apps launched by the Government of India, stepping towards the bright future

The Government of India has launched a number of special digital apps to manage and provide better quality services to Indian citizens.

And the Government of India has played a special role in this development. The Government of India has launched a number of special digital apps to manage and provide better quality services to Indian citizens.

Like other countries of the world, the government of this country has also embraced digital technology. India has taken the lead in using technology to improve the administrative operations of its citizens for various needs. The numerous mobile applications launched by the Government of India are a testament to the most significant efforts. People are getting benefits by using these apps to get important services and communicate with the government.

UMANG: UMANG stands for 'Unified Mobile Application for New Age Governance'. It has become the gateway to several government services in the country. From payment of utility bills to receipt of passports, more than 1200 services of federal and state agencies are made available through UMANG.

BHIM: A special app used for financial inclusion and digital transactions is the Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) app. With BHIM for Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform, customers can send and receive money with the tap of a smartphone.

Adhaar: A mobile app called mAadhaar has become very important for India's unique biometric identity system. The name, DOB, gender, and address details of a person in the country can be easily available on their mobile device with this app from their Aadhaar card.

MyGov: The MyGov app is one way for citizens to get officially involved. Citizens of the country can make their voices heard, join debates, and be able to work together with government agencies on a wide range of projects and policies through the MyGov app.

DigiLocker: DigiLocker is a secure online place for government-issued documents. This platform is facilitating the citizens of a country. With DigiLocker, all important documents will always be accessible in the cloud.
