War against drugs in Washington

India is taking a leading role in curbing the drug menace.

 An Indian delegation was in Washington for a meeting in the White House to draw the policy framework on narcotics drugs.

The director general of NCB, SN Pradhan, Inspector General Sanjay Singh were a part of the delegation which pitched hard to curb the drug cartel.

 Intelligence agencies have prepared a document suggesting that the drug cartel runs and finances seven governments across the globe.

According to senior officials of the Indian delegation, the meeting was fruitful.
