New Delhi: The Australia-India Skills Summit 2025 officially commenced in New Delhi on Tuesday, April 1st, marking a significant step in bilateral cooperation on workforce development. The summit brings together leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from both nations to strengthen skill-based collaborations.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Monica Kennedy, Minister, Commercial and Head of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission in South Asia, underscored the importance of the Future Skills Initiative as a key driver of this growing partnership.
The initiative focuses on bridging skill gaps, fostering educational exchanges, and aligning industry needs with emerging workforce trends. Australia and India have been expanding their vocational training programs, technology-driven education partnerships, and student mobility initiatives, aiming to equip professionals with future-ready skills.
