Australia to host Quad leaders' summit on May 24

Anthony Albanese said: "I am delighted to announce that Australia will host the quad leaders' summit for the first time in Sydney on May 24. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Australia in May to attend the Quad Leadership Summit. The Quad is a strategic forum comprising India, Japan, the United States and Australia. Its primary goal is to develop a new strategy to keep important maritime routes in the Indo-Pacific region free of any impact.
