India and Russia Strengthen Defense Ties

New Delhi: In a significant step towards enhancing bilateral defense cooperation, India and Russia held the 3rd Working Sub Group Meeting on Planning of Military Cooperation of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Military-Technical Cooperation. The meeting took place in New Delhi on July 23-24, 2024, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The discussions focused on various aspects of military cooperation, aiming to strengthen the long-standing defense ties between the two nations. Both sides emphasized the importance of mutual support and collaboration in military and technical fields to bolster their defense capabilities.
