By A Staff Reporter- During the inauguration of the India-Cambodia Tourism Year 2024 in Delhi, Manisha Saxena, Director General of the Ministry of Tourism, expressed enthusiasm for the event. She announced the launch of the tourism year along with the commencement of a direct flight between India and Cambodia, which arrived from Phnom Penh the previous day.

Saxena highlighted the significance of this occasion, stating, "This is a great opportunity for India and Cambodia to increase tourist traffic between each other and to rediscover the cultural ties that have bound us for so many centuries."

She emphasized that the increased tourist flow between the two countries would create numerous livelihoods and economic opportunities, underscoring the potential benefits for both India and Cambodia.
