Iranian Ambassador to India, Iraj Elahi, expressed grave concerns over the ongoing situation in Gaza and criticized global powers for their silence in response to what he termed "genocide." Speaking about the regional instability, Elahi stated, "The genocide in Gaza is going on, unfortunately. The United States, France, England, and other influential countries are silent. They do not even try to stop this and the crimes of Israel."

Elahi also pointed out the broader regional implications of the conflict, particularly noting tensions in Lebanon. "In Lebanon, there is a new round of tension. Bombardment is continuing, and Israel intensified bombardment. New, advanced bombs have just started being used, and Israel’s ground forces entered Lebanon but failed," he claimed.

He further touched upon Iran-Israel relations, highlighting retaliatory strikes after Israel allegedly targeted Iranian interests. "Israel has committed crimes inside Iran, and we retaliated... Our missiles could easily pass the Iron Dome, and we targeted intelligence centers, military installations, and ground forces preparing to invade Lebanon."

Elahi concluded by stating that Israel censored information regarding the extent of the damage caused by Iranian strikes, adding, "We do have good information and assessment about the result of our operation."
