Nepal Floods and Landslides Claim 60 Lives in 24 Hours

By A Staff Reporter: The devastating impact of floods and landslides in Nepal has resulted in a death toll of 60 over the last 24 hours. Officials from the Armed Police Force reported that the majority of the casualties occurred in the Kathmandu Valley, where 34 individuals lost their lives. Additionally, 19 deaths were reported across five districts in Bagmati Province, excluding the Kathmandu Valley, and seven fatalities were confirmed in Koshi Province.

Rescue and recovery efforts are currently underway, as authorities work to locate and assist those affected by the severe weather conditions. The situation remains critical, with ongoing challenges posed by the adverse weather.
