On the official front, PM Modi was given a ceremonial welcome at Parliament House, where he engaged in comprehensive discussions with PM Wong. The two leaders reviewed cooperation across a broad range of sectors, including trade, defence, digital economy, and food security. Four Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed, focusing on semiconductor ecosystems, digital technologies, skill development, and healthcare.

Mazumdar also mentioned that the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable had recently identified six key pillars for future cooperation, four of which were addressed through the newly signed MOUs. Both leaders agreed to elevate the relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership, ensuring India-Singapore ties are future-ready.
