President Murmu Welcomes Maldives President at Rashtrapati Bhavan

During a significant meeting in New Delhi, President Droupadi Murmu expressed her honor in welcoming His Excellency Mohamed Muizzu, the President of Maldives, along with First Lady Sajidha Mohammed. She highlighted the deep-rooted connections shared by India and Maldives, stating, "India and Maldives are interjoined by geography but also by our shared values of democracy."

President Murmu reflected on the mutual support that the two countries have extended to each other over the years. "As close neighbors, we've celebrated each other's successes and stood by each other in times of need," she remarked, underscoring the importance of their bilateral relationship.
