In a significant diplomatic engagement, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a productive meeting with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, in New Delhi.
Following the meeting, Singh emphasized the importance of India’s Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the UAE, describing it as “of immense priority” to New Delhi. The two leaders discussed avenues to further strengthen defence ties between the two countries.

“In the coming years, we are eager to work closely in areas such as defence cooperation, co-production and co-development projects, innovation and technology,” Singh stated.
The discussion also highlighted a shared vision for regional stability. Both India and the UAE reiterated their commitment to working together for peace and prosperity in the region, underlining their alignment on key geopolitical concerns.
