Russia questions the veracity of leaked Pentagon documents

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia was analyzing leaked U.S. documents and saying the authenticity of the information was questionable. He said it was the jurisdiction of U.S. special forces to detain Massachusetts Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira for his alleged involvement in the leaked documents. Our focus is to thoroughly examine this data, as well as critically evaluate its validity, but to study it carefully. Asked if the information could pose a threat to Russia's security, Peskov said: "It is the responsibility of russia's special service to verify this information." '
