GPO: The old Fort William

 The General Post Office was designed in 1864 by Walter Grenville. He was the consulting architect to the government of India from 1863 to 1868. ANM News decided to dig into the history of the majestic structure which was the site of the first Fort William in the British era. The deputy director of GPO, Sudarshana Sen explained the traces of history for the viewers of ANM News in an exclusive conversation with the editor in chief of ANM News Avijit Nandi Majumdar.
