Manoj Agarwal is the new Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal

Agarwal, currently forest and disaster management secretary is known for his dynamic administrative skills and straight bat attitude. With state going to polls in 2026, the role of chief electoral officer becomes extremely sensitive and important considering the tirade among rival political parties over bogus voters. Agarwal brings a wealth of experience with him to tide over such issues. The new CEO will take charge next week.
