'Celebration'! Art works of the Constitution is the theme of this puja

We spoke to Souvik Bhattacharya, Puja Secretary of Santoshpur Trikon Park. Among the theme pujas of South Kolkata, Santoshpur Trikon Park puja has now taken a special place in the mind of the visitors. So the updates of that puja is here for you first in NNM News. We got to know from Sauvik Bhattacharya about their theme this time and other details.

First comes the theme. Santoshpur Trikon Park's theme of this year is "Celebration". Souvik said in this regard, "Our constitution is 75 years old and the 75th year of the puja through which we have gone through difficult ups and downs. So we are also celebrating 75 years of this puja. The main thing we are working on this puja is art and culture. So if we look above or below the pages of the book of this constitution, it will be understood that there is work on some art and culture. We are basically going to work with that. All of our work is based on the top page of the book of the Indian Constitution".

Today's trending theme is competition. Speaking about how confident Santoshpur Trikon Park is about staying ahead of the competition this year, Souvik said, “We are optimistic because, first of all, this kind of work is not happening anywhere in Kolkata. Secondly, the one who is working i.e. the original artist is like Uttam Kumar in terms of artistry. Her name is Jayashree Burman. Her recent work was Radhika Merchant's lehenga design. She has also worked in various Mandapams of Kolkata. She worked in 2016. Her style of work is different. On the one hand we are falling behind and because of the R GKar issue many people may be turning against Puja. On the other hand if  you can actually understand the work we have done and the pattern of work, this is optimistic from all sides."
