BY A STAFF REPORTER: Good news! The price of gas cylinders is coming down. This time, the price of gas cylinder has come down by Rs 171.50. However, this price is coming down only for commercial gas cylinders. However, the price of domestic gas cylinders is not decreasing. This means that the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder will remain unchanged. According to sources, the price of cooking gas cylinders used in the commercial sector has come down by Rs 171.50. As a result, the new price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata has come down to Rs 1,960.50. The new prices will come into effect from May 1. However, the price of domestic cooking gas cylinders (LPG) is not decreasing or remaining unchanged. That is, the price of 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinder will be Rs 1,129.
