NCP-SCP's Jitendra Ahwad Booked For Sharing Misleading Video

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, a case has been filed against NCP-SCP leader Jitendra Ahwad for sharing a false video regarding a mismatch between the button pressed in the Ballot Unit and Paper Slip generated through VVPAT on April 27, Saturday.

The Manipur Police has registered a case under 120Β/203/505(1)(2)/171-C /171-E of the Indian Penal Code and  123/136 of the Representation of the People's Act.

The Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka also booked BJP leader and South Bengaluru candidate Tejasvi Surya for breaching the poll code by seeking votes on religious grounds.
