BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha polls, Samajwadi Supremo and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav filed his nomination from the Kannauj constituency on April 25, Friday.
Akhilesh Yadav is set to contest against BJP's candidate and incumbent MP from Kannauj, Subrat Pathak. Moreover, Subrat Pathak also filed his nomination from Kannauj today.
The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held tomorrow in 88 constituencies across 13 states. In Uttar Pradesh, eight constituencies will covered namely Amroha, Meerut, Mathura, Baghpat, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Bulandshahr.
