By a staff reporter: We are towards the end of 2023. Lets have a look at top 3 events in retrospect.

1. Coromandel accident: Up Coromandel Express derailed in a head-on collision with a freight train at Odisha's Baleshwar on June 2. Yeshwantpur Express on the adjacent line also derailed. The whole of India trembled. 288 died and 650 got injured till last news.
2. Arrest in ration corruption: The Enforcement Directorate or ED arrested the former food minister of West Bengal, Jyotipriya Mallick, in the early hours of October 27, on charges of involvement in corruption. He is currently the Forest Minister.
3. Abrogation of Article 370: Today, the Supreme Court gave its opinion in favor of the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. As a result, Jammu and Kashmir will soon be recognized as one of the states of India.
4. Manipur violence: On 3 May 2023, violence took place in India's north-eastern state of Manipur between the Meitei people, a majority that lives in the Imphal Valley, and the Kuki-Zo tribal community from the surrounding hills.
