Gandhinagar, Gujarat — At the inaugural ceremony of the All India Home Guards and Home Security Conference in Gandhinagar, Union Minister Amit Shah presented a bold vision for India’s future, advocating for a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) by 2047. This vision, he stated, is rooted in the collective resolution of the Indian citizens under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shah articulated that the concept of "Viksit Rashtra" is not confined to the conventional Western notions of modernization. He emphasized that true development should embrace all sectors while simultaneously preserving and promoting India's diverse culture, traditions, and languages. “For us, 'Viksit Rashtra' is not limited to western definitions of modernization, but it is development in all fields along with the growth of our culture, traditions, and languages,” he remarked.
The Union Minister underscored that safety and security are fundamental to realizing this ambitious vision. “The safety of every individual and their property is paramount,” he stated, highlighting the critical role of Civil Defence and Home Guards in fostering a secure environment. He called upon the conference attendees to prioritize community safety as a foundation for national progress.
