Lok Sabha on Tuesday began discussion on a no-confidence motion in Manipur. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi moved a no-confidence motion in place of Rahul Gandhi. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi said, "Manipur is burning, which means India is burning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is observing a vow of silence as he does not want to admit mistakes. The Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has also maintained silence on Chinese aggression on the border. Modi is hiding what was discussed with Xi  Jinping. So we had to bring a no-confidence motion to break his silence. We have three questions for him: 1) Why has he not visited Manipur till date? 2) Why did it take him almost 80 days to finally talk about Manipur and why did he speak for only 30 seconds? 3) Why has the Prime Minister not sacked the Chief Minister of Manipur so far? Manipur wants justice. The Prime Minister should make a statement in Parliament.
