External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar, addressing the India Foundation’s Ideas Conclave virtually, emphasized India’s growing influence on the global stage, spanning technology, business, and governance. Speaking on the theme of "Building Brand Bharat," Jaishankar highlighted India’s positive reception across industries and regions, including his recent experience at the CARICOM Summit.

"Just two days ago, I was with the Prime Minister at the CARICOM Summit, and I could see that these feelings are still very much alive in the Caribbean. Everybody today sees something of interest to them in India's endeavours," he noted, emphasizing India's multifaceted global appeal.

He elaborated on how India’s advancements in technology and talent are garnering admiration worldwide. "The tech community notes our India stack and 5G technology. The AI and semiconductor businesses appreciate our talent and creativity. The world of marine, shipping, and airlines respects our professionalism," he said. Jaishankar also pointed out the respect India commands across various sectors, from blue-collar and traditional industries to emerging creative and executive domains.

The minister also reflected on India’s democratic robustness, referencing this summer's general elections. "This summer, our nation also witnessed the largest democratic exercise ever. As is to be expected, there were passionate arguments and strong polemics in that process. But at the end of the day, the system delivered fully and flawlessly," he stated, underscoring the efficiency and resilience of India’s democratic framework.
