Andaman basin has the largest reserves of oil and natural gas in the world. Myanmar and indonesia are producing hydrocarbons for last 150 years and exporting those after meeting with their indigenous requirements.
Since Myanmar, Andaman and Indonesia are part of common subduction zone so instant production of hydrocarbons takes place around the clock. Entire himalayan geothermal belt comprising of hindukush parvat,jammu and kashmir,uttrakhand,nepal,seven northeastern states of india,myanmar,andaman basin and indonesia are producing in organic hydrocarbons for last more than one million years and like middle east there are inexhaustible oil and gas reserves in entire himalayan geothermal belt (second largest after ring of fire in pacific).
India can save one third of gdp being spent in import of hydrocarbons and moreover become opec member like indonesia.
Nature is very kind to dev bhumi bharat in providing natural resources but scientifically illiterate prime ministers and inefficient governments are responsible for selling lpg cylinder for 1100 rupees.
