Muzaffarpur, Bihar: A Task Force from the Indian Army Corps of Engineers has been deployed to aid in the recovery of an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) belonging to the Indian Air Force (IAF) from the floodwaters of the Lakhandei River. The helicopter was submerged following recent heavy rains that caused significant flooding in the region.

The Task Force has been instrumental in establishing a safe access route to the recovery site. They constructed essential working platforms to facilitate the IAF Technical Team's operations. This initiative underscores the collaborative efforts of the Indian Army and the IAF in ensuring the swift recovery of military assets, even under challenging conditions.

The ADG PI of the Indian Army stated that the team's prompt action has paved the way for a successful recovery operation, showcasing the Army's commitment to supporting the IAF in times of need.
