Yogi magic worked but Modi magic did not

BJP lost badly in Karnataka despite high voltage campaign by galaxy of senior leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath lead the BJP sweep in municipal polls ans by-elections in UP.

None of the BJP top brass were there to campaign in UP.  Yogi Adityanath thanked people of UP for keeping faith in the BJP. His counterpart in Karnataka accepted defeat. The indications are loud and clear for everyone to understand. BJP insiders claimed that this time Yogi magic worked while Modi magic fell short.
